In 2000 she moved to Monflanquin in the Lot-et-Garonne to study at the Atelier Neo-Medici, there learning the "technique mixte" based on that of Van Eyck. In May 2001 she held her third solo exhibition in The Gallery, Shepherds Market. In September 2002 she held her first exhibition in France, in the Salle d'exposition, Villeneuvette and another in November in The Westbourne Studios, Portobello Road, London.
In March 2003 her work was to be found on the cover of the Affordable Art Fair catalogue, showing with the Beverly Knowles art gallery in Notting Hill. More recently she has held exhibitions in Villeneuvette, France, June 2008 and in Marlborough, UK, November 2008.
Moving away from the more figurative her latest body of work concentrates on still life, landscapes and seascapes.
Fran continues to live and work in Nébian with her family and dog Mossy Chops
